Along with the beautiful sunshine and rising temperatures of the approaching Summer months comes the peak of our Rental Season here at Baldwin Brothers, Inc.! Throughout the Summer we will have a large variety of properties available within the City of Erie and in Millcreek with a variety of sizes, prices, and amenities sure to suit anyone’s needs! Our rental staff welcomes all questions or queries and is more than happy to schedule an appointment to view our properties during business hours – Monday thru Friday from 8:00am until 5:00pm.
April showers bring May flowers along with an abundance of beautiful scenery throughout the Erie area! Take a break from the hustle and bustle of mainstream attractions for the relaxing atmosphere Spring has to offer. There are a number of beautiful state parks that surround the Erie area, each one suited with its own activities and attractions sure to be worth the trip.
Enjoy a breath of fresh air with an exciting and educational hike at Panama Rocks in Chautauqua County, NY. Castle Rock, Sand Cave, and Paradise Alley are just a few of the rock formations and caves you are encouraged to explore throughout the hike. If camping, boating, and fishing are more to your liking, try visiting Pymatuning State Park in Linesville, PA. Visit the reservoir and spillway at Pymatuning for a chance to feed the fish and learn where the phrase ‘Where the ducks walk on the fish’ comes from!
Voted one of the top 100 campgrounds in the nation, Letchworth State Park in Castile, NY also offers stunning views of numerous waterfalls that canvas the park. Open year round and offering camping, lodging, hunting and a rich history, this park is known to be called the Grand Canyon of the East. Last, but certainly not least, we must always remember Presque Isle State Park located right here in Erie, PA. Visit the Tom Ridge Environmental Center for an educational tour of the park, or spend your day boating, fishing, hiking, bicycling, or in-line skating around the peninsula. Presque Isle also offers a number of beaches perfect for a day in the sand.
Whether within your own back yard or within one tank of gas and a weekend stay, you’ll always find a wonderful way to spend a Summer’s day here in the Erie area.
